A spark of hope

This is not the first time I write about the organization I’m joining in,  Light collective outreach is now becoming a part of my life.
I’m happy to know I served this ministry very well.

My feet keep me coming back, keep bringing me to this place called smokey mountain because My heart keeps wanting to see again and again their innocent smiles and eyes…

Getting to know each them deeper, Discovering their lives, their weaknesses and strengths and guiding them with God’s love thru his word kept them encourage and motivated, coaching them, telling them to get up and keep moving on after a fall, a failure, a mistake, holding them by hands and  helping them to walk in this lonely and confusing world.

I’m comforted to know with this small acts of caring, with my heartfelt simple little prayers to God of my love to this Kids are the possibilities of a better and brighter future for them.
my hopes will not disappoint me, – Romans 5:5
I will do my part, and God will do His part
and the magic will follow.

Pray for me to keep pressing forward.

A spark of hope

His Eyes is on the sparrow.

I woke up early and bring my coffee at the rooftop, I love to see day breaks, sunrise or how the day open welcome the new beginning,
but I was surprised and astonished what I witness, the beauty of this flocks of birds in a cohesion, flying around the rooftop.
it is not every day this happen and it is not every day they were this close at sight.
I observed them but at the same time I was talking to God, well I was praying.
awe at all his creation.

while I was thinking through, I ask the purpose why they were flying this way, it made sense when my thought points of the word “community”.

An article says about flocking of the birds :

The several benefits to flying as a flock because It improves a bird’s chance of survival against predators because a
large group of birds is stronger and better protected and with many eyes the flock is far more likely to spot a would-be marauder.
Also, the predator will find it harder to concentrate on a single victim, increasing the individual member of the flock’s chance of survival.

Flocking also enables birds to fly further using less energy because when the strong leader bird flaps its wings it creates
uplift for the birds behind each bird is flying in the upwash from the wing of the bird in front.
This enables the flock to use less energy and reduces fatigue.

this story was few years ago,
Well I’m a person who is so used being alone,
I love solitude and I learnt to enjoy it so much
but my introverted nature affected my faith in so many levels
that I came to a certain point I isolated myself even to other believers,
“Flocking also enables birds to fly further using less energy because when the strong leader bird flaps its wings it creates
uplift for the birds behind each bird is flying in the upwash from the wing of the bird in front.
This enables the flock to use less energy and reduces fatigue”
this so true fighting your faith without any one to hold you back is kind of exhausting , it is like flying alone,
and in my weakness the devil took advantage to devour me,
I’m an easy target for the enemy because Im alone and vulnerable without anyone to look behind my back it is almost impossible to survive an attack
on my own.
this thing I didnt see coming.
I thought it was “okay”.
yes! you are a believer, “you are once lost but now you are found”
little did I know, already disobeying God for being an isolated believer nd it is a dangerous kind of being lost, yet you do not know you are disobeying, this is a sin you cannot easily see, because im just figuring all in my own.
Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.- Proverbs 18:1

Even Jesus show the importance of community,
he choose 12 disciples Jesus wants them to be united,
He commanded them pray and love each other.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. -Proverbs 27:17
Likewise, when believers are involved in one another’s lives, mutual edification occurs.
“Two are better than one,
because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.
ut woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together,
they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone,
two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”-Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Humans were created for fellowship (Genesis 2:18).
When we’re living in healthy fellowship, we rely on one another and help one another.
It is often thought that the threefold cord of Ecclesiastes 4:12 refers to two people in relationship who are submitted to God.
It is true that fellowship is beneficial for humans in general, but all the more so for Christians (Matthew 18:19-20).
Right now I was doing my best to be with small groups,

God has showed me how much I sinned against him when I tried to depart with other believers
first I kept my testimony on my own, I dont give a chance to other Christians to share this testimony so I could also
bless them with my story and all the things God has given me,
second, I haven’t given chance my brothers and sisters to help me with my struggles, I owned everything likes it is really my own problems and forgot that it also God’s.
and it is a form of selfishness.
We are called to care and share and grow in community, grow with other people
we are design for a relationships.

God is still good and His Eyes is on this sparrow becasue this story of Isolation now I was able to share with others who struggling the same thing.
and God let me tell them, that it is never okay to be an island.
this world is dark and vast, and a single light or wings are not enough to conquer a huge place.

there are so many ways on how to join in small groups please see link below
pray that God will bring you in a community that can help you grow in faith in Him and develop Christlikeness.
